Tuquan Harrison

Tuquan Harrison is an accomplished Program Officer at The James Irvine Foundation since February 2022, with a strong background in policy development and advocacy for marginalized communities. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Advisor for the City and County of San Francisco from March 2018 to January 2022, where Tuquan directed LGBTQI+ initiatives, managed a $7 million grant portfolio, and led public awareness campaigns addressing gender and racial disparities. Roles also include Program Director for the Queer and Trans Youth United in Power Fellowship, Senior Housing Specialist at PHFE Public Health Foundation Enterprises, and Legal Analyst at Positive Resource Center. Tuquan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, focusing on Ethics and Public Policy, and Gender Studies, from UC Santa Barbara.
