Brian Hickey

Brian Hickey serves as the Vice President of Advancement at The James Madison Institute since March 2025. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Director of Partner Relations & Associate Membership at the Florida Bankers Association, contributing to the advocacy and promotion of Florida's banking industry from December 2021 to March 2025. From November 2017 to November 2021, Brian was the Director of the Florida Afterschool Network, focusing on enhancing and advocating for high-quality afterschool programs across the state. Brian's earlier experience includes serving as Director at the Tallahassee Sports Council from January 2007 to November 2017 and as Executive Director from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, Brian worked as Assistant Director of Amateur Sports at the Florida Sports Foundation between April 2001 and February 2005. Brian holds education credentials from Florida State University, attended from 1999 to 2000.
