Alyssa Soto

Alyssa Soto is a skilled professional in animal care and education with a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences from Stetson University. Currently serving as the Animal Nutrition Lead at Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens since March 2021, Alyssa has also worked as a Lifeguard at The Roth Family Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando and held various roles in educational and conservation settings. Notable experiences include serving as a Zookeeper at Lion Country Safari, where duties involved caring for lorikeets and giraffes, and as an Education Intern at SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando, where Alyssa educated children about marine life and conservation. Additional roles have included Enrichment Counselor and Education Field Instructor, focusing on engaging young learners in animal education and environmental stewardship during field trips across Florida.
