Ian Green has a diverse work experience that spans from 2020 to the present. Ian started as a Retail Associate at The Home Depot in 2020. In 2021, Ian worked as a Data Engineering Intern at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they improved data analysis tools and optimized data extraction processes. Ian also worked as a Data Analyst at Fieldpiece Products, creating a data pipeline and intake system for IoT devices. Ian is currently employed as a Lead Software Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, starting in 2022. Throughout their academic years, Ian held various roles at Loyola Marymount University, including Student, Bioinformatics Undergraduate Research, Teaching Assistant, UB/UBMS Tutor, Ground Operations Project Manager for LMU CubeSat, Rains Undergraduate Research Fellow, Debate Program Assistant, and Undergraduate Research Assistant. During their self-employment from 2016 to 2021, Ian worked as a Tutor.

Ian Green attended Loyola Marrymount University from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Ian also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with an emphasis in Computer Engineering at the same university during the same period. In 2019, Ian participated in a Study Abroad program at Saint Louis University. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Advanced Technology Academy from 2014 to 2018, earning an Advanced Honors Diploma in Computer Science. Additionally, Ian obtained a CTE Certificate in Computer Science from Nevada in 2018 and received the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish from the Nevada Department of Education in the same year. Ian is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering.
