Samuel Kim

Samuel Kim is a senior research scientist at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, with a background in designing advanced photonic crystal lenses and deep learning architectures. Previously, Samuel was a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Kyber Photonics, where Samuel focused on metamaterials design. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Samuel has also conducted research at various institutions, including Harvard University and Tsinghua University.
