Shane Walston

Shane Walston has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Shane started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Tetracore Inc in January 2014 and worked there until April 2015. Shane then joined Advanced Programs, Inc as a Mechanical Engineer in April 2015 and stayed until October 2016. Currently, they are working at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they hold multiple roles including Principal Investigator, Project Manager, and Lead Analyst for the Advanced Kill Chains & ISRT project since October 2016.

Shane Walston completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Shane also obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2023.
