Tom Alberi is a seasoned professional in the field of weapon systems engineering, currently serving as the Program Manager for the Sentinel Weapon System Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory since October 2017. In previous roles, Alberi was the Assistant Program Manager for the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program, Chief Scientist for the Weapon Systems Engineering group, and Chief Engineer for the systems engineering and operational analysis group focused on strategic deterrence. Prior to this, Alberi worked at Textron Systems as a Lead Systems Engineer, where projects included the Common Avionics System and the Small Sense and Avoid System for unmanned aircraft. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Virginia Tech.
