Rebecca Ramirez, SHRM-SCP, has held various HR leadership roles throughout their career. Rebecca started in 1994 as a Human Resources Manager at Target, where they were promoted to higher volume locations and eventually managed a Super Target store with a revenue of $50 million and 600 employees. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Regional Human Resources Manager at ShopKo Stores Inc, providing HR oversight and support to 29 field HR managers in the Midwest region.
Rebecca then joined Kellogg Company in 2003 and held multiple positions including Associate Director of Human Resources, Director of Human Resources-Global IT, and Director of HR & Change Management Lead for Global IT/Global Business Services. In these roles, they led various HR initiatives such as organizational restructuring, change management, talent management, and leadership development.
In 2016, Ramirez joined TransUnion as the Senior Director of Human Resources, where they served as a business-facing HR leader for two key organizations. Rebecca oversaw a team of HR business partners and provided HR partnership and consultation to executive leaders.
Most recently, Ramirez has been working as the Director, Global HR Business Partner at Joint Commission since 2018.
Rebecca Ramirez, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University. Rebecca obtained their SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in January 2021. In June 2021, they also received an Inclusive Leadership certification from LinkedIn. Additionally, Rebecca has expressed intentions to pursue a Hogan Assessment Certification, although further details about the institution and the timeframe of obtaining this certification are not available.
