Charles E. Jones

Charles E. Jones is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Amtrak since May 2019, Jones also holds the position of President at The Jones Group, a Service Disabled Veteran/minority-owned Design/Build firm established by Jones in July 2008. Previous roles include Program Manager at ADC Management Solutions and Tyco Integrated Security, where responsibilities involved managing significant projects for the Internal Revenue Service. From 2001 to 2008, Jones was the Vice President of Environmental Engineering at McKissack & McKissack, overseeing extensive environmental design and construction projects. Jones began as a Project Manager at United Water, managing operations at a large wastewater treatment facility, and previously worked as a Project Engineer at MWH, Inc. Jones holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Howard University.
