Amy Mattia

Amy Mattia has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Amy started their career at The Journey as an Office Manager from January 2005 to July 2009. Amy then moved on to Karis House Community Counseling Center and worked as an Intake Coordinator and Staff Counselor from July 2010 to February 2016. Amy was then promoted to the role of Director at Karis House Community Counseling Center and held this position from February 2016 to the present. In addition to their work at the counseling center, they also have experience at The Journey, where they served as the Executive Director of Care and Staffing from February 2020 to September 2022. Currently, Amy holds the position of Executive Director of Karis House Community Center since July 2022.

Amy Mattia received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Theological Studies from the same institution in 2006. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Licensed Professional Counselor from the Missouri Committee of Professional Counselors.
