France-Luce Benson is an accomplished instructor and playwright with extensive experience in the performing arts sector. Currently serving as an Instructor in Writing for Performance at The Juilliard School and a Staff Writer at ViacomCBS, France-Luce has also contributed as a Member Playwright at Ensemble Studio Theatre and as a playwright with the Susan Gurman Agency since 2015. Previous academic roles include Adjunct Professor at UCLA Extension and Associate Professor at St. John's University. France-Luce’s notable works include the play "Fati's Last Dance" performed at The Billie Holiday Theatre and previous involvement with New Perspectives Theatre's Women's Work Lab. Educational credentials include an M.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University, a BFA in Theatre from Florida International University, and a High School Diploma in Theatre from New World School of the Arts.
