The Julian Center
Shay Allen-Johnson is an experienced professional in crisis management and youth advocacy, currently serving as the Crisis Call Center Manager at The Julian Center since July 2020. Responsibilities include team supervision, training, recruitment, coaching, and grant reporting. Shay previously held roles as a Triage & Intake Specialist and Youth Advocate, aiding over 200 survivors and enhancing engagement among youth through community partnerships. Additional experience includes serving as a School Based Life Skills Specialist at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc., and as an ally with Public Allies, focusing on volunteer recruitment and program promotion. Shay holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana State University and is pursuing an MBA in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University.

The Julian Center provides safe shelter, transitional housing, permanent housing, counseling, outreach and education to victims of domestic violence and their children in Central Indiana. Our vision is to permanently end the cycle of domestic violence for the families whom we serve.
