Mark J. Maluga, PhD, LCPC, is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an Assistant Teaching Professor at Ball State University. With a strong clinical background, Mark has been a clinician at The Juniper Center since February 2016, providing therapy to clients with mental health and substance abuse issues, while also specializing in LGBT health and trauma. Previous roles include serving as a Visiting Psychology Lecturer at Indiana University Northwest, Clinical Coordinator at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, and Primary Therapist at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center. Mark's extensive education includes a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, as well as multiple master's degrees in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University, and a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology from Northern Illinois University.
