The Junkluggers
Erik Makrush has held various roles throughout their work experience. Erik started in 2009 as the Director of the Center for Government Accountability and Transparency at the Idaho Freedom Foundation. In this role, they advocated for free market solutions, private property rights, individual responsibility, and transparent, limited government. In 2014, they became the Director of Operations at the Foundation for Government Accountability, where they promoted better lives for individuals and families by equipping policymakers with principled strategies to replace failed health and welfare programs nationwide. Since 2017, Erik has been the President, owner, and operator of The Junkluggers, a company that focuses on junk removal and sustainable disposal.
Erik Makrush obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Political Science from Boise State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Erik later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from West Texas A&M University, completing their degree between 2015 and 2017.
