Senior Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Consultant at The Justice Collective

Jenna Ortiz has extensive experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting. Jenna currently serves as a Senior Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Consultant at The Justice Collective, where they work to promote equitable practices within organizations. Jenna is also the Founder and Principal Consultant at Dynamic Transformations, a consultancy that focuses on human-centered approaches to diversity and inclusion. Jenna has previously worked as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Consultant at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Additionally, Jenna has experience in strategy and operations, having served as the Director of Strategy and Operations at Teach For America. Jenna also held the role of Associate in National Community Alliances at the same organization. Jenna's previous roles include Administrative Assistant at Facing History and Ourselves, Universal Banker and Bank Teller at SunTrust, Student Activist Coordinator at Amnesty International USA, Student Ambassador at ISEP Study Abroad, and Service Learning Teaching Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Jenna began their career as a Bank Teller at Wells Fargo.

Jenna Ortiz, MA, CPDC has a strong educational background in international affairs and history. Jenna earned their Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Affairs from The New School, completing their studies from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, Jenna obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History, with a focus on International Social Justice, from Virginia Commonwealth University, where they studied from 2013 to 2016.

Jenna also has experience studying abroad. In 2014, they participated in the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) Alumni and the University of Plymouth, where they focused on their field of study, History.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jenna has pursued professional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Jenna obtained the Certified Professional Diversity Coach (CPDC) certification from the CoachDiversity Institute in 2022. Jenna also holds an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which they earned in December 2021. Furthermore, they have a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the same institution, obtained in May 2021. Jenna's commitment to professional development is evident through their membership in the International Coaching Federation (ICF), as represented by the ICF Member Badge they obtained in June 2023.
