Manuel MacEdo

Manuel Macedo has a diverse work experience, holding various leadership positions in multinational companies. Starting in 2009, they served as an Executive Board Member and Commercial Director at METRO/MAKRO Cash and Carry. Manuel then became a Partner at LXDF Lda in 2010 before joining Henkel in 2012. At Henkel, they held multiple roles, including President of Henkel Latin America and President of Henkel Brazil. In 2015, they also became a Director at the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad. In 2016, they joined ABIQUIM as a Director. In 2019, Macedo took on several leadership positions simultaneously, including President of Honeywell High Growth Region, Latin America, Vice President at Amcham Mexico, Director at Consejo de Empresas Globales, and Chair of the Council of Latin America Leaders at the American Society of Mexico. Most recently, they became a Partner and COO at KEENFOLKS in 2024.

Manuel Macedo has a diverse education history. Manuel started their academic journey at The British School of Milan - Sir James Henderson School from 1982 to 1986. Later, they pursued a degree in Business Administration at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management from 1987 to 1992. In 2001 to 2003, they completed an MBA program at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management. Additionally, Manuel attended various short-term programs. In 2004, they participated in the Global Management Seminar at IESE Business School. In 2006, they attended the Global Leadership Program at Thunderbird School of Global Management. In 2007, they completed a course in Strategy & Management at INSEAD. Lastly, in 2014, they attended the Building Businesses in Emerging Markets program at Harvard Business School.
