Jamie Lyn S. currently serves as the Deputy Director of Development, Special Projects and Writing Program at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, where responsibilities include project creation, fundraising, and partnership development. Previously, Jamie managed grant and fundraising efforts at the same library, contributing to programming for over 60,000 patrons. Experience also includes teaching creative writing at The Kenyon Review and Bluffton University, as well as serving as English faculty at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. With a background in education and outreach, Jamie held several roles in New York City schools and coordinated programs addressing intimate partner violence in Ohio. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English and Drama from Kenyon College, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Fordham University. Currently, Jamie is pursuing a Professional Certification in Fundraising and Development.
