Chief Information Officer at KEPRO

Joe Swartz is the Chief Information Officer at Kepro.

In this role, Joe is responsible for the overall strategy and direction for all Information Technology (IT) systems for Kepro. These systems include network infrastructure, telecommunications, software development and support, database administration, healthcare intelligence, and IT systems security.

Prior to his current role, Joe served as Kepro’s Vice President of IT Application Services where he managed all custom application development. In other roles, Joe was responsible for Kepro’s IT infrastructure and security and lead all aspects of local and wide-area networks, telecommunications and security.

Over his thirty-year tenure at Kepro, he has planned and managed the IT budget, consolidated IT infrastructure, strengthened disaster recovery and business continuity posture, successfully led the transition to cloud services and has supported the organization’s growth over the years.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a master’s degree in Leadership and Information Technology from Duquesne University. Additionally, Joe obtained an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification.
