Jessica Buck

Jessica Buck is a highly experienced researcher in the field of oncology and paediatric brain tumour studies. Currently serving as Lab Head at The Kids Research Institute Australia since December 2024, Jessica previously held the position of Forrest Fellow in Brain Tumour Research at The University of Western Australia while also working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Telethon Kids Institute from July 2019 to December 2024. Jessica's significant academic background includes a DPhil in Oncology from the University of Oxford, where the thesis focused on imaging angiogenesis in brain metastasis, and a Master's in Neuroscience from the same institution. Early research experience includes roles at the Centre for MR in Health and the University of Newcastle, contributing to studies on Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and the neurobiology of addiction.
