Laura Burgess

Laura Burgess, CPP, is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in HR operations and total rewards. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at The Kinetic Group since February 2024, Laura previously held various senior leadership roles at Vista Outdoor Inc., where responsibilities included HR business partnership and employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR shared services from June 2018 to February 2024. Prior to that, Laura worked at Target from February 2011 to June 2018, taking on roles in payroll tax compliance, payroll accounting, and financial reporting. Laura began their career at Trane, where positions ranged from Internal Controls Compliance Leader to Accounting Intern. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
