Kelisha B. Graves, Ed.D.

Kelisha B. Graves, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Kelisha B. currently serves as the Chief Research, Education, and Programs Officer at The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. In this position, they oversee the strategic development, digital transformation, and operational success of the organization's Research, Education, and Program Unit. Kelisha B. is responsible for managing corporate and government partnerships, program delivery, quality control, and evaluation.

In addition to their role at The King Center, Dr. Graves has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Virginia State University since 2022. Previously, they served as an Adjunct Professor and Program Director for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund Fleischer HBCU Scholars Program at Fayetteville State University. Kelisha B. also worked as the Co-Principal Investigator for the Comprehensive Integrated HIV Prevention Program and was involved in the Honors and Undergraduate Research Program at the same university. Furthermore, Dr. Graves has experience as a guest lecturer in African American History and African American Philosophy.

With their extensive background in education and program management, Dr. Graves brings valuable expertise to their current and previous roles, contributing to the advancement of education, social change, and HIV prevention initiatives.

Kelisha B. Graves, Ed.D. has a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from Fayetteville State University. Kelisha B. also holds a Master's degree from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree from Fayetteville State University.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kelisha has obtained several certifications. Kelisha B. completed the FAMU Assessment certification at Florida A&M University in November 2021. In April 2018, they completed the Flipping the Classroom and Teaching Techniques: Developing Curriculum certifications at Lynda.com. Kelisha also has training in research ethics and social/behavioral research through the CITI Program, a division of BRANY. Kelisha B. has also completed Effective Teacher Training at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
