Nick Bijkerk

Nick Bijkerk is an experienced hatchery assistant currently employed at The Kingfish Company since November 2021, where responsibilities include cultivating artemia, grading, and caring for broodstock and larvae. Previously, Nick served as an intern in the hatchery department at Kingfish Zeeland and held various positions including grocery delivery at Jumbo Supermarkten, parcel delivery at DHL, and bartender at Frisia Rondvaarten. Nick's professional background also includes experience as a sailing instructor, tomato picker, and cashier at Visgilde Oosterschelde. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Watermanagement Aquatic Ecotechnology from HZ University of Applied Sciences and has completed additional studies in Technische Bedrijfskunde at Avans University, alongside secondary education at RSG T'Rijks.
