Jake King

Jake King is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in various roles across the film and education sectors. Since September 2015, Jake has served as a Media Specialist at Kingsborough Center for eLearning while also fulfilling the position of Technical Director at The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival since June 2018. As a Film Critic for The Knockturnal since September 2016, Jake has contributed insightful commentary on films. Additionally, Jake has honed video editing skills while managing personal editing projects since September 2011. In an educational capacity, Jake has been a College Assistant in Kingsborough Community College's "College for Kids" program since July 2008, ensuring a safe and productive environment for program participants. Past roles include Videographer for The Phil Taitt Show, Video Director and Cinematographer for Socially INappropriate Productions, and various internships and positions in script supervision and technical assistance. Jake holds a BA in Communication Arts with a focus on Digital Media from St. Francis College.
