Mr. Gessman has over 22 years of experience in the electrical construction industry. He began his career at MYR Group in 1996 as a district estimator and project manager with Hawkeye Construction before joining L.E. Myers in 2001 as a transmission line supervisor.
Mr. Gessman gained management experience from 2003-13 as an area manager and program manager with Henkels & McCoy Inc., rejoining L.E. Myers as a project manager in 2013.
In 2014, Mr. Gessman became an operations manager for a year and a district manager for three years beginning in 2015. Since 2018, Mr. Gessman has served as L.E. Myers’ south regional vice president, responsible for all aspects of project management, customers relations, and labor relations.
