Allison Braun has extensive experience in legal resolution and mediation, currently serving as Resolution Counsel in the Early Intervention Department and previously as a Complaint Resolution Officer at the Law Society of Alberta since December 2015. Prior to this role, Allison was a mediator in training at the Alberta Justice Provincial Court Civil Claims Mediation Program for a brief period in 2015. From 1999 to 2006, Allison held the position of Vice President Legal and In-house Counsel for Western Canada at Oxford Properties Group. Earlier in their career, Allison worked as an associate and articling student at Miller Thomson LLP from 1992 to 1999. Allison holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Alberta (1989-1992) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of Calgary (1985-1989), along with training from the ADR Institute of Alberta (2012-2013).
