Roger King

Roger King is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in the artificial intelligence and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Fellow at the International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance and the Learned Society of Wales, Roger holds the title of Emeritus Giles Distinguished Professor and Executive Director at Mississippi State University, where involvement spans several leadership and academic roles since 1988. As a Life Fellow of IEEE, Roger has significantly contributed to high-performance computing through a consultancy role at SOL ENGINEERING SERVICES, LLC. Previous positions include Honorary Professor at Cardiff University, Chief Technologist for Earth Science Applications at NASA, and Research Supervisor at the U.S. Bureau of Mines. Roger's educational background includes a PhD in Engineering from Cardiff University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University.
