Kerri-Ann Wright

Kerri-Ann Wright, Esq. serves as the CEO and Board Lead at Joyful Liberation Collective since January 2022, where responsibilities include strategic planning and fundraising collaboration with the Executive Director. Additionally, Kerri-Ann is a Board Member at UPchieve, advising on strategic planning and financial decisions while supporting fundraising efforts. As the Director of Training & Professional Development at The Legal Aid Society of NYC since February 2017, Kerri-Ann partners with C-Suite executives to develop strategic programs that align with the organization’s goals. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Staff Attorney at Sanctuary for Families, representing survivors of Intimate Partner Violence, and a Staff Attorney at The Children's Law Center, advocating for children in family court. Kerri-Ann's earlier roles also encompass legal internships and positions at various organizations, providing a foundation in litigation and legal advocacy. Kerri-Ann holds a JD from Albany Law School and a BA in Urban Studies & Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University.
