Marlon Agustín-Méndez

Marlon Agustín-Méndez, LMSW, currently serves as a Forensic Social Worker at The Legal Aid Society since November 2019, specializing in civil practice within the New York Immigrant Family Unit Program (NYIFUP). Previous experience includes a role as a Psychotherapist at KB Forensics and a Graduate Intern with the National Association of Social Workers - NYC Chapter. Marlon Agustín-Méndez has also held positions such as Intern at the Dutchess County Department of Probation and Poughkeepsie High School, along with serving as a Job Coach at the NABA-Northeastern Association of the Blind at Albany, focusing on employment development for individuals with visual impairments. As a Bilingual Case Manager for Project Model Offender Reintegration Experience (MORE), Marlon Agustín-Méndez contributed to re-entry services. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, graduating summa cum laude from Lehman College, complemented by studies in Commercial Art at Dutchess Community College.
