Jasmine Paez

Jasmine Paez, LMSW, is an experienced forensic social worker currently serving at The Legal Aid Society since January 2022, focusing on crisis intervention and supportive counseling for immigrant youth. Previously, Jasmine worked with asylum-seeking students aged 11-15 at El Puente and contributed to the Mayor's Action Plan for Neighborhood Safety while at Jacob A. Riis Neighborhood Settlement. Additional experience includes roles at The Bronx Defenders as a social work policy intern, Open Society Foundations as a social work intern, and TheraCare as a service coordinator, among others. Jasmine holds a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College.
