Rilito Povea

Rilito Povea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy, operations, and social responsibility within notable organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy, Impact, and Operations - Social Responsibility at the LEGO Group since January 2022, Rilito has previously held leadership roles at the WWF as Deputy Director, and the Norwegian Refugee Council as Head of Advocacy and Policy. Rilito's expertise extends to board membership at the North Atlantic Microplastic Centre and ICVA, focusing on humanitarian action and environmental innovation. With a background in crisis management at the International Committee of the Red Cross, Rilito has successfully led initiatives related to access to healthcare in conflict zones and has significantly contributed to partnership development. Rilito's academic credentials include an Executive MBA from IMD, a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from SOAS, and a Bachelor’s in International Development and Sociology from the University of Exeter.
