Rob Kleijnen

Rob Kleijnen is an experienced professional in additive manufacturing, currently serving as Additive Manufacturing Manager and previously as Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer at the LEGO Group since February 2021. Prior to this role, Rob worked at inspire AG from October 2014 to February 2021 as a Scientific Assistant and PhD Candidate, focusing on new materials for Selective Laser Sintering while conducting independent research for a PhD at ETH Zürich. Rob's earlier experience includes an internship at The Dow Chemical Company in 2014, where responsibilities involved measuring and modeling properties of multilayer films, and a part-time role as a public transport chauffeur in Eindhoven from 2011 to 2013. Rob holds a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
