Alberto Sorongon

Alberto Sorongon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analysis, research design, program evaluation, and survey design. Currently serving as Vice President and Managing Consultant at The Lewin Group since October 2012, Alberto provides expertise for the Office of Head Start Monitoring System support contract for the Administration for Children and Families. Previously, as Senior Study Director at Westat from February 2002 to October 2012, Alberto played a critical role in large-scale national studies, including co-directing the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study – Kindergarten Class of 2010-11. Alberto began their career as a Research Assistant at The George Washington University, where Alberto contributed to a drug prevention curriculum funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse. Alberto holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in Developmental and Child Psychology from The George Washington University.
