Erika Beam

Erika Beam is a Director at The Lewin Group, where experience spans from August 2013 to the present, including roles as a Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Research Consultant. Prior to this, Erika served as a Management Science Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy from September 2011 to May 2013. Responsibilities included collaborating with IBM India Research Lab on a Care Management Platform and assisting in teaching management science topics. Additional experience includes an internship at the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, where Erika completed a program on healthcare improvement, researched patient risk factors, and developed a leadership curriculum. Erika also worked as a Research Intern at Magee-Womens Research Institute and Foundation, contributing to studies on pregnancy-specific hypertensive disorders. Erika holds a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics from Washington & Jefferson College.
