AmyJune Hineline, CPACC, has a well-rounded work experience in various roles and industries. AmyJune is currently employed at The Linux Foundation as a Certification Community Architect, where they support the Certification team in building and maintaining exams and related documentation for Open Source technologies. Prior to this, AmyJune worked at Red Hat as a Senior Community Manager at Opensource.com, where they managed technical writer programs and improved community practices. AmyJune also has experience in copy and content management and served as a Community Ambassador at Burning Token Records. In addition, AmyJune worked in nursing at Sutter Health and held positions as an Open Source Community Manager and Ambassador, QA Engineer at Kanopi Studios, a Community Lead and Drupal Site Builder at Hook 42, and as a Site Builder and Support Extraordinaire at Kalamuna. Throughout their career, AmyJune has demonstrated a passion for open-source communities and contributing back to the community.

AmyJune Hineline, CPACC has a diverse and extensive education history. AmyJune obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, General from California State University, Monterey Bay from 2012 to 2014. In 2016, they pursued a course in Drupal architecture and site development at DrupalEasy. AmyJune also holds an Associate's Degree in life science from Santa Rosa Junior College, earned from 1992 to 1993. AmyJune further expanded their education by obtaining an Associate's Degree in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication from Gavilan College between 2012 and 2013. AmyJune earned another Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Administration and Human Communication from San Jose State University from 2010 to 2012. AmyJune completed their high school education at Analy High School from 1989 to 1993.

Additionally, they have acquired several certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2021, they obtained the IAAP Certified Professionals in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. AmyJune also received various certifications from The Linux Foundation, including "Building a New Project Website that Sings LFT138," "Cybersecurity Essentials LFC108," "Ethics in AI and Data Science LFS112," "Introduction to GitOps LFS169," "LFC104: Ethics for Open Source Development," "A Beginner's Guide to Open Source Software Development," "Inclusive Open Source Community Orientation," and "LFC101: Inclusive Speaker Orientation." AmyJune was honored with the "2023 Applaud Their Awards: 100 Technologists to Watch" from Women Who Code in March 2023.
