Senior Instructional Designer at The Linux Foundation

Magdalena Stepien, APTD, CPTM has a diverse work experience in the field of instructional design. From January 2017 to October 2021, they worked at The Linux Foundation, starting as an Instructional Designer (Contractor) before being promoted to the role of Instructional Designer. In October 2021, they were further promoted to the position of Senior Instructional Designer. Their responsibilities in these roles involved designing instructional materials and content.

In January 2018, Magdalena joined Northeastern Illinois University as an Adjunct Lecturer, where they taught courses as part of their role until December 2018.

Magdalena Stepien, APTD, CPTM, has a solid educational background. Magdalena earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northeastern Illinois University between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Resource Development from the same institution from 2012 to 2014.

Before pursuing their master's degrees, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of Warsaw from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their academic achievements, Magdalena Stepien has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Magdalena became an Associate Professional in Talent Development through ATD CI - The ATD Certification Institute in January 2020. Magdalena further expanded their expertise by becoming a Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) through Training Industry, Inc. in May 2020. Lastly, they obtained a Course Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in September 2020.
