Jim Benson has a diverse work experience in the media and communications industry. Jim started their career as a Television Reporter for Variety in 1990 before joining Universal Worldwide Television Distribution/Studios USA in 1996. At Universal, they held the roles of SVP of Communications, VP, and Sr. VP, overseeing all corporate and consumer PR & publicity for global and domestic production/distribution divisions. Jim worked on highly rated first-run series and distributed major off-network series, theatrical feature packages, and a large library of television classics. In 2005, they joined Broadcasting & Cable magazine as a Bureau Chief before becoming the EVP of The Lippin Group in 2007. Currently, they serve as the President of Corporate Communications West Coast for The Lippin Group.
