"As a graphic designer, it is in my nature to create bespoke items for friends, family. So when I found out I was pregnant with my first child I was of course going to want to put my skills to use and dream up something special for him."Ruth and her family have a huge appreciation for conservation and the protection of wildlife and theyoften talk about projects through which they could help raise awareness and funds.Since launching in 2016, the business has gone from strength to strength. Winning two awards, a visit to No 10 Downing street and being named as one of the top 100 UK small businesses in the Small Business Saturday campaign 2018."Their mission is to inspire the next generation of animal lovers and conservationists from as early an age as possible" Says Ruth. She believes exposing children to the amazing wildlife on their planet is the best hope of protecting it for the future.The big dream is that owning something from The Little Black & White Book Project is a right of passage for every little new arrival to welcome them to their wonderful world.
