The Logic
David Reevely is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience covering political and governmental affairs in Canada. Currently serving as the Ottawa correspondent for The Logic since June 2021, David focuses on Canada's innovation economy, federal government initiatives, and key sectors such as infrastructure, telecom, health, cybersecurity, and space. Previously, David held the position of Ottawa bureau chief at The Canadian Press, leading coverage of national news, and has contributed in various editorial capacities since 2000 at the Ottawa Citizen. Additionally, David has taught media law at Algonquin College and worked in technical writing roles earlier in the career. David holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Canadian Studies from McGill University.
