The Lumen Institute
Mark Haydu LC currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for The Legionaries of Christ since June 2018 and as a Priest at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, where responsibilities include administering sacraments on weekends. Additionally, Mark holds the position of Manhattan Chapter Chaplain for The Lumen Institute, a non-profit focused on the formation of Christian leaders, since September 2016. Prior to these roles, Mark was the International Coordinator for The Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums from September 2007 to June 2016. Mark's educational background includes a Master of Philosophy in Applied and Professional Ethics and a Master in Moral Theology with a focus on Family and Sexual Ethics, both from Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum, as well as earlier studies at Franciscan University of Steubenville and two high schools.

The Lumen Institute is a non-profit organization that provides highly personalized formation for business executives and societal leaders. Its mission is to form Christian leaders to illuminate society with the light of Christ. Through its core values of Character, Faith, and Leadership, it helps to educate and train those who have significant influence to be faithful stewards within their families, businesses, and the broader community. It was founded in 2005 by a small group of New York businessmen and priests in response to a critical need for virtuous formation for today's leaders.
