Sejin Chung

Program Scientist at The Lustgarten Foundation

Sejin Chung is a dedicated scientist with extensive experience in biotechnology and cancer research. Currently serving as a Program Scientist at The Lustgarten Foundation since March 2022 and a Scientist at Perlara PBC since August 2021, Sejin focuses on drug development for genetic diseases. Previous roles include Scientist I in Diagnostics Product Development at BioLegend, Scientist at Rarebase, and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where significant contributions were made to understanding cancer mechanisms and therapeutic strategies. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Cancer Genomics and Genetics from the University at Buffalo, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Arizona, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
