Rick Truxal

Rick Truxal has extensive experience in sourcing and supply chain management. Rick currently serves as the Director of Sourcing at The LYCRA Company since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at INVISTA from 2006 to 2019, holding the positions of Managing Director, Global Direct Materials Sourcing and Director Global Spandex Raw Materials. From 1998 to 2006, Rick worked at Flint Group, where they held various roles including Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Director of Global Sourcing, and Director of Corporate Materials. Before that, they worked as the Materials Manager at Tower Automotive from 1996 to 1998, and as the Central Planning Supervisor/Purchasing Supervisor at Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes from 1992 to 1996.

Rick Truxal obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University from 1983 to 1987. Rick later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance at Wayne State University from 1994 to 1996.
