Max Jones

Max Jones is an experienced professional specializing in aerodynamics and engineering, currently serving as an Aerodynamics Analyst at Leonardo Helicopters since September 2024. As the Founder and Aerodynamics Lead of The Mach Initiative since August 2022, Max leads innovative projects in aerodynamics. Previous roles include a Systems Engineer at Callen-Lenz Associates Ltd, a Software Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software where Max focused on software development for Simcenter tools, and a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer at Project Boom, utilizing advanced simulation techniques. Max began a career in customer service as a Barista at Costa Coffee while pursuing a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Bath, which spanned from September 2019 to June 2024.
