Nabengye Florence

Nabengye Florence is a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Ghana, since November 2022, where responsibilities include assisting lecturers, organizing teaching materials, and coordinating laboratory sessions. Previously, Nabengye has gained valuable experience as a Student Intern at MakersPlace Ghana and the University of Ghana Medical Center, where daily maintenance and operation of medical equipment were key tasks. Additionally, involvement in a one-week workshop with The League for Global Development and participation in the Exit Strategy Summit provided insight into global development and post-academic preparation. Earlier experience includes fieldwork at Navrongo Health Research Centre, focusing on health data collection for children, and an internship at War Memorial Hospital, emphasizing equipment maintenance and design. Nabengye's educational background includes a first degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Ghana, completed in October 2022.
