Amy Sonnie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in content and communications, currently serving as a Partner at The Management Center since January 2021. With a freelance career beginning in 2000, Amy specializes in writing, copyediting, and content strategy, alongside curriculum development and workshop facilitation focused on social justice and digital inclusion. Previous roles include Senior Librarian for Educational Equity at Marin County Free Library, where Amy managed branch operations and led equity initiatives, as well as Adult Literacy and Lifelong Learning Librarian at Oakland Public Library, notable for directing several impactful community programs. As a co-founder of the Center for Media Justice, Amy contributed to expanding media access for marginalized communities and later served on its Board of Directors. Amy holds a Master of Library & Information Science from San Jose State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Women's and Gender Studies from Syracuse University.
