Philip Large

Philip Large is the current CEO of The Mandy Network, a position they have held since 2012. Philip is also a former GM of Europe for Backstage, a position they held from December 2020 to June 2022. Prior to their work at The Mandy Network, they also worked as an administrator for a start-up business.

Under Large's leadership, The Mandy Network has grown from a small team of 5 administrators to a professional organization with 25 staff members and an international footprint. Philip has been responsible for setting a clear business vision and leading the commercial and product development strategy. Philip has also successfully launched a regular stream of innovative digital products to the industry and negotiated deals with key industry partners to deliver growth.

Large has introduced a data driven mindset to guide business decisions and used analytics to improve customer acquisition, conversion and retention rates across the website. Philip has also increased speed to market and reduced development cycle times by introducing an agile philosophy to the business. The Mandy Network has successfully scaled under Large's leadership and they oversaw the launch into the US, Canada and Australia. Philip also led the organization through a competitor acquisition and the successful integration of two different companies and two digital platforms.

Large has developed a high performing and engaged team, introducing measurable KPI’s, SOP’s and structured workflows, driving efficiency and consistency across the organisation.

Philip Large has a Master's in Purchasing and Supply Chain from the University of West London and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Birmingham City University.
