Alexandra Stevens

Alexandra Stevens is an aquarist and animal trainer currently employed at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Seasonal Ambassador Animal Zookeeper at the Denver Zoological Foundation and serving as a Laboratory Animal Caretaker at Stony Brook University. Additional positions held include a Bird & Mammal Husbandry Assistant at Texas State Aquarium, a Mammal Department Intern at Long Island Aquarium, a Research Assistant at the Department of Evolution and Ecology at Stony Brook University, and a Clinical Observer at Marbletown Animal Hospital. Alexandra has also interned with Global FinPrint and conducted research at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Alexandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Vertebrate Biology from Stony Brook University, graduating in 2020.
