Genesse Carrillo

Genesse Carrillo has a diverse work experience across various industries. Genesse is currently working as a Content Lead at The Marketing Practice since November 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Einstein Industries for several years, starting as a Copywriter in July 2017 and eventually being promoted to Content Supervisor and then Content Manager. During their time at Einstein Industries, they managed a team of writers and editors, developed KPIs for the content team, and conducted quarterly reviews and coaching sessions.

Before joining Einstein Industries, Genesse worked as a Copywriter at the Medical Imaging Center from July 2014 to July 2017. Genesse also gained experience in the film production industry through internships at Brolin Productions, New Regency Productions, and Mad Chance Productions. Additionally, they worked as a Production Assistant and Donor Relations Administrative Assistant at Loyola Marymount University.

In terms of early experience, Genesse interned as an Entertainment Journalism Intern at Hollywire, where they contributed articles and assisted with video production. Genesse also worked as an Attractions Hostess at Disneyland Resort from June 2010 to October 2012.

Genesse Carrillo attended Loyola Marymount University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on screenwriting.
