Richard Saad

Richard Saad has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Richard is currently the Group Head of Business Process Optimization and Operational Excellence at Marmon Holdings, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Operations & Strategy at Afreecar LLC, where they were responsible for all aspects of the startup's operations and strategic launch. Richard also worked as a Principal Consultant and Industry 4.0 Certified SIRI Assessor at Umbrex, delivering enterprise growth strategies and optimizing business processes and systems.

Richard has held a variety of leadership positions at companies such as AJM Packaging Corporation, where they served as the VP of Operations, and Anheuser-Busch InBev, where they held roles as the Sr. Director Global Supply & Operations Integration and Sr. Operations Director, Global Supply & Operational Excellence. Richard also worked as a Senior Expert Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in operations and supply chain transformation.

Earlier in their career, Richard gained valuable experience at General Motors, where they held positions such as Global Program Innovation Strategy & Planning, Business Unit Manager, Lead Strategic Planner, and Manager of Advanced Manufacturing Innovation. Richard also worked at IBM Global Services as a Business Development Consultant Intern. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in operations, strategic planning, supply chain management, and business process optimization.

Richard Saad holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Richard'sstudies focused on Strategic Management, Management of Organizations, Finance, Marketing, and e-Commerce. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEM) degree from Northwestern University, specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Prior to that, Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, where their studies centered around Operations, Supply Chain, and Lean Manufacturing.

In terms of additional certifications, Richard Saad has been certified as a Certified SIRI Assessor (CSA) for Industry 4.0 Readiness by the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) institution. Richard obtained this certification in July 2021. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, although the issuing institution is not specified, and the exact date of acquisition is unknown.
