Matthew Kaufman

Matthew Kaufman is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity and financial management. As the Managing Partner at Validor Capital since 2011, Matthew leads a firm that partners with management teams to enhance value in family and founder-owned businesses within the lower middle market. In addition to this role, Matthew serves on the boards of multiple companies including Fi-Foil, BICO Steel, The Marwin Company, and Boehm Pressed Steel Co. Matthew’s prior experience includes significant positions such as Senior Managing Director at GSC Group and Director of Corporate Finance at Nextwave Telecom, along with foundational roles at The Blackstone Group. Matthew holds both a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
