Manu De Backer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in academia and business. As the owner of The Master Labs and The Master Labs Academy since 2010 and June 2020, respectively, Manu has been instrumental in shaping innovative educational approaches. In addition to overseeing content as Director at The Master Channel since 2018, Manu holds professorial roles at Ghent University and the University of Antwerp since 2013 and 2007 respectively. Previous academic experience includes a professorship at K.U. Leuven and a role as a PhD student where the focus was on the application of Petri Net Theory for business process verification, which aligns with a Master’s in Applied Economic Sciences obtained from KU Leuven. Furthermore, Manu contributes to strategic decision-making as a member of the Board of Directors at SAI.
